No previous horse experience is necessary. Sessions are unmounted (no riding).

This fun short course has been designed for those who would like to learn about horses & general care.

Plus, you'll take home a helpful workbook (including some in-the-field theory work) incase you wish to revisit anything you learnt at a later date!

• Understanding Body Language: Learn to interpret the subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) cues that horses use to communicate. Learn how to communicate using your own body language. 

• Catching & Leading: Develop practical skills for interacting safely and effectively with horses.

• Basic Anatomy and Grooming: Discover the fundamentals of equine anatomy and master essential grooming techniques.

• General Care: Gain insights into feeding, the use of rugs, and how to spot signs that your horse isn't feeling quite right.

 

Not only will your child learn lots about horses, but they will also build on their own skill set, including:

• Problem Solving

• Teamwork 

• Effective Communication

• Self Confidence
